Strategy Choice Board
The Strategy Choice Board provides a simple yet powerful framework to assist firms address the evolution of competition in their industry. We work with clients - either or in group workshops or individual dialogue - to address the three value creation strategies and three levels of competition. The output from this process feeds into the Capability Compass.
 
Capability Compass
Our Capability Compass diagnoses the specific components of capabilities such as human competencies, culture, and supporting systems and processes. Critical intangible asset flows of capture and leverage facing the firm are highlighted. Practical recommendations with respect to system development, cultural and leadership change programs, and staff training are clarified. The Capability Compass and Strategy Choice Board together also provide input into the Innovation and Learning Navigator.
   
 
 
 
Innovation and Learning Navigator
Our capabilities research indicates that learning can be a two-edged sword - it is easy for firms to waste money 'learning' the wrong things. The Innovation and Learning Navigator keeps the process on track and ensures that learning supports innovation that will create value. The audit consists of each of the capability dimensions (human resources, culture, systems and processes) as well as individual, group and organizational level learning.
     
                               
Value Chain Manager
The Value Chain Manager provides a robust framework to assist firms - at whatever link in the value chain - to develop, implement and monitor whole chain strategies. The tool covers value creation and capture, risk management, and governance dimensions.
   
Relationship Sextant
The Relationship Sextant can be used in conjunction with the Value Chain Manager, and covers all aspects of the business relationship process - from partner selection to management and exit (if required). Information Opportunity Discoverer
The Information Opportunity Discoverer has been developed specifically for the fresh food industries. In most industries inventory is used as the buffer for poor information management, but in the fresh food industries there are a range of implications such as out-of-stocks, repackaging costs, discounted or distressed sales, shrinkage and non-routine purchases. The Discoverer:

1. quantifies the opportunities for better managing information throughout the total transaction process

2. Quantifies the value of the a range of solutions such as the information platform, data analysis solutions, improving information management capabilities and enhancing the relationship with trading partners (and hence the willingness to share information.)
